Julie Tandy

Welcome to my artwork

“I hope you enjoy browsing through my paintings. Artworks that are for sale have the price displayed, and you can complete the purchase on this site” - Julie Tandy

Julie has not exhibited or sold her work for many years. They were simply too personal to share. Her new, found passion for placing oil on canvas sees her talent for expressing her observation of the natural world, reach a new level of awareness and complexity. Every painting is much like our environment, ever changing and a labour of love.

Why choose a Julie Tandy artwork?

Each painting is unique

Each painting is unique

Julie runs daily along coast, marshes and woodland. The time alone in all weathers allows her to experience sights and images nature presents in that moment, not seen or viewed by another eye. Captured on camera and translated on to canvas for the unique pleasure of those who appreciate the natural world and the artists interpretation.

Every painting is a labour of love

The passion and time it takes to capture the perfect image and build layer on layer of oil on canvas, on average two years for completed work, gives a true insight to the artist creative integrity. Not looking for perfection, but a moment when the work is ready and only the work can let her when that is. Rare and beautiful and waiting to be loved and shared.
